Launching the first Seamless Collection for Savage X Fenty.
This collection originated from Rihanna's request to replace her favorite discontinued seamless panties. Collaborating closely with product development partners, leadership, and the factory, we developed the perfect seamless fabric to match a beloved but costly competitor sample. I designed the pieces in this collection to embody a simplistic, effortlessly-sexy aesthetic, featuring well-placed waistbands, flattering necklines, and high-cut leglines.
Creating the first High Impact Sports Bra for Savage X Fenty.
Savage X Fenty Sport has a unique fashion-forward point of view, it was an invigorating challenge to blend a Highly functional performance garment with style that nods back to lingerie. After lack-luster development speed and communication with an initial vendor, I took it upon myself to counter develop this style, which incudes a brand new foam pad, with an alternative vendor. The move paid off! After conducting internal and external wear-tests this style successfully launched February 2024 and continues to receive rave reviews.
Not your momma’s nursing bra.
Before Rihanna announced her 1st pregnancy - I was designing into Savage X Fenty Maternity, which we knew would have to possess a different point of view from the traditional nursing bras in the market. It was crucial to provide the customer with functional options that they could continue to feel sexy and confident while wearing. We took great care to use molded cups where possible and cover seams with ultra-soft pullout stitches to ensure a comfortable all-day/all-night wear. Full slings in soft Cotton or Sexy Elastic strapping were used to keep the clasp in an easy-to-reach position, for when only one hand is accessible.
